kettling the kettlers, stuck outside the door

We have been kettling the university security now outside for over 5 1/2 hours, they went onto overtime at 2:30, god knows how much this action is costing the university, how much cheaper would it be to take a more elignterned approach, many university have allowed students go ahead and helped faciliate peaceful occupations like this one.

how long can the security wait before the need the toilet?

Hey guys, its great that you have taken action so soon after the Xmas break. It is actions like yours which are needed to keep the pressure up! I'm a Brookes student at home in Rugby atm, might grab the train over tommorow to try and help open it up so the occupation can be open to anyone who wishes to get in! Keep up the good work, it is appreciated!

Sit in the Vice Chancellors office

Sit in the Vice chancellors office. The area usually as pro fees and cuts central, the place where the Browne review was partly drafted, was today turned temporally in anti Cuts and anti Fees HQ for Birmingham University. The students abandoned the sit in after the university promised direct talks on Monday with management for the students (the first public talks on fees in years) and called the Registrar and Secretary lee sanders down to debate with the students the pros and cons of the fees hike.
